Who are we?
We are a nationwide initiative of students from different areas of study, who decided to publish a journal together. The project “360°” was created out of this initiative at the end of 2005 and operates as a non-profit institution.
What do we do?
We see ourselves as a gateway between university and the public. The scientific articles will be composed by students from different areas of study. The article will be journalistically edited between the reviewers and the author in the process of publication. From the presented articles we will choose those that are best researched, and with the most stringent argumentation to be published. Each proposed topic will have an argumentative characteristic. The published work will also have an article written by a reviewer introducing the topic which the single articles will delve deeper into. The articles may also be written in English.
What are our Goals?
Our goal is to communicate the great potential of students to the public. In doing so, we want to build on students’ abilities and skills and convert good works to publish-worthy articles. For this reason, we contribute to socio-political as well as critical discourse about current topics.
The 4 steps to publication
Write us an email with a short description of your idea!
Write us early on to describe what you’re planning. What is the goal of your investigation? What is your subject? How do you want to and how will you go about your project? Send us a description of your idea and project via e-mail at einsendungen@journal360.de and download the application form as well as - very important - the guidelines for our authors.
Finished article?
Then send us an abstract, fill out the application form, attach your work and its evaluation, and send the whole package to our editors. Please limit the result-oriented abstract of your article to 90 words. Please send your work first by email only.
On with the Reading!
Once everything needed arrives, your article will go through a preliminary selection process. If your article is interesting, you and it together will go through a revision process with our editors and our academic advisory board.
Out into the World!
Did your article prove itself quality over and against others? Then it will appear in 360°.
